Date: 27/10/2009 Title: RED Travelling trough a Colour Author: LE MUSEEDES ENFANTS - HET KINDERMUSEUM Text: For children between the ages of 4 and 12 and their families An opportunity to discover the various facets of the colour RED, to play with different colours, to follow the course of blood, to travel in China, to explore emotions such as anger, pride, shame, love… This exhibition was planned to enable children to play and learn thanks to modules and scenery made of wood, of simple design and not electronic. This exhibition also interests people who work in the field of education, with its approach in dealing with conflicts and emotions such as anger, shame, pride…, as well as its opening on the world through different cultural aspects of the colour Red. The scientific aspect is dealt with through the circulation of blood, and the chapter entitled « Red is a visual signal » concentrates on the artistic aspects.
