Discover is the UK’s first hands-on story centre based in Stratford east London, we provide creative play, learning and art activities for over 45,000 children and their carers annually.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Supervisor to oversee schools and family sessions. The role includes supervising the front-of-house staff (Story Builders), dealing with the public and ensuring that the centre is welcoming and safe for all visitors. The successful candidate must have experience in a customer services role either in museums, galleries, arts organizations or in the voluntary sector. Experience of working with children and families is essential.
The post is available full-time, part-time or job share.
We are also looking for part-time and casual Story Builders to facilitate school sessions, events and hosting birthday parties, full training will be given. Enthusiasm and experience of working with children and families is essential.
